These pictures dont' begin to
show all that this little blue eyed
beauty is. Although she is quite small, she is extremely balanced and
smoothly blended and very dairy. So far, she is showing me a lovely blend of
both her parents. Fraulin had a broken tail head with her first
kidding(birthed a 5# buck kid) and doesn't get shown anymore because it
really takes away from her topline. She is producing lovely offspring tho
that are winning for their owners MCH/CH Piddlin Acres PV Gretel*M is one of
her daughters and she has a + son(GCH Piddlin Acres PV Hit The Bullseye+B) as well.
Fraulin has been retained

Paprika is a pretty little red doe that is already producing
better than herself(and herself isn't half bad!) She has wonderful udder
texture and although we would like to improve teat placement she is VERY
easy to milk. She's very consistant in the showring and we look forward to
having her fresh in the spring. Paprika has had an outstanding spring show
season(2010), tho short and sweet, she went to 5 rings and won 4 Grands,4
BOB,4 BUOB and 1 BIS! Not bad for an old lady of almost 9 yrs old with 9
freshenings! We might just keep her<G>

couldn't be more pleased with the consistancy we are seeing here.

Shanghai is a really stylish dairy girl. Love the openess of
rib and her sharpness. I'd like to see more capacity, both in body and
mammary but her dam was late to come in with both of those, so we will be
patient. Because of a mineral imbalance problem that we were not able to
correct in time, Shanghai has suffered a permanent lameness and can no
longer be shown. We'll have to let her offspring speak for her. :(
She still has a beautiful socked on udder and we are anxious to freshen her
daughter ,Feng Shui, next spring Shanghai also has a finished daughter
that appraised E 90 in 2009. Piddlin Acres V Shanghais Kia

Pearl continues a line that has been very consistant and
successful for us, Our old gal Suzuki. She was shown very briefly as a
junior and was consistantly a middle of the pack doeling. However, she has
become a true swan as a first freshener and had the judges being 'oh so
complimentary' at her first show. One judge even said after the show
if she had not had to compete against two MCH does in the lineup, he
would have used her for grand! Praise indeed considering the competition.
Sadly in 2008, Pearl suffered a bout of career ending mastitis. We just knew
that this was the freshening she would finish her championship on as her
udder looked outstanding. Sadly it was not meant to be but she will remain a
valuable brood doe for us to carry on the line.

Boots was a kid that was slow to mature but she really has pulled it together as
a yearling. She walked into the showring for the first time and won her jr
leg. She has freshened with a lovely udder and we are quite anxious to use her
sire, Viagra, some more this spring.
Boots walked into 6 rings this spring(07) and came away with 3 sr grands and 2
reserves. And a BEST IN SHOW against some very nice competition. She
should now be finished in both registries and we couldn't be more pleased with
her.

excellent dairy character. She is also milking very well. We can't wait to

bad behavior!

Sunni was our shining star this fall. A really full bodied
mature 2 yr old first freshener that did everything she could do for me. She
got her Jr leg in May, went to Nationals and didn't get looked at<G> and
then freshened in August with triplets and went to her first show in Sept
and won Grand in both rings. Then did a one day test 2 days later and milked
4lbs and qualified for her *M. I won't go so far as to say she is the best
doe we have, but she is the best all around first freshener we have ever had

her being a very nice brood doe.

wide area of attachment. Shown here at 70 days fresh, she has plenty of
capacity as well. Neon consistantly has trips and quads.

| Well the sad day finally arrived.
In the early days of fall 2007, our old gal, just short of 16 yrs old, crossed
the Rainbow Bridge. We had begun to think she would live forever as she was
the oldest Nigerian we had heard of. But in the last few weeks she had
started to faulter and we knew the time had come.
We'll miss ya ol Bazooki<G> |
Suzuki is one
of our farm favorites. She has, even as a 12 yr old, one of the highest rear
udders we have seen. She has qualified for her star based on progeny (3
daughters got their stars). Her offspring have done extremely well in the
show ring, the milk pail and in other breeding programs.(sons) She is a
very strong willed doe, who in spite of a serious injury in 2001, while
heavy bred, went on to successfully kid and raise her daughter, even tho the
injury has left her permanently lame.
Suzuki has several MCH daughters: Piddlin Acres Chitty
Bang Bang, Piddlin Acres Fanny Flag 2*D, CH/MCH Piddlin Acres SC Oddessey as well
as other daughters and granddaughters with show wins and milk records.
